Apples and marscapone

So since I couldn’t find the recipe in the magazine, here’s how I think you might do it:

First, slice some apples and sautée them in butter. Then you probably need to candy some walnuts. I’m not sure how you do this but you could probably sprinkle them with sugar and toast them in the oven for 10 minutes. Arrange the walnuts and apples beautifully on a plate, dob a bit of mascapone around and then drizzle with with something – maple syrup, vanilla syrup, runny honey. Yum!

    Our cover recipes always run in the News & Views section, and there is a pointer to the exact page on the contents page, beside the cover image. In this issue, it’s page 18. We didn’t candy our walnuts, but that would be a lovely touch. Hope you enjoy.

      Thanks, Sarah. I’m sure I would have found it had I not been simultaneously making sure my toddler didn’t fall off those high cafe stools!
