Beware of apple trees, part 3

July 8, 2011

I realised that I had missed out part 3, and gone straight to part 4. I love fairy tales. I especially like the way that magic is expected and not at all surprising. Also that they can be slightly illogical and yet still convincing. I just took the main points out of ‘The Magic Roots’, which originally appeared in Ruth Manning-Sanders’ Folk and Fairy Tales, first published in 1978. You can find another adapted fairy tale here.
